Objectives

  • Manage the Maxus Van Sales team to ensure achievement of set sales targets.
  • Control of incoming enquiries to the site.
  • Ensure sales sites displays professional image at all times

Reporting

The Sales Manager (Maxus) reports to the Van Sales Director

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that van sales team are achieving and exceeding set targets in terms of volume, PPU and Finance penetration.
  • Adhere to and monitor FCA compliance and update regulatory status on a monthly basis.
  • To run the DOC report to show live data based on Sales Van order take, profit, part exchange, downstream revenue and other key sales KPI statistics to Van Sales Director.
  • Review demo utilisation and report on a weekly basis.
  • Maintenance of vehicle display boards for both New Displays at Van Centre
  • To scan finance documents for pay out & liaise with Sales Executive regarding any issues reported back.
  • Extract sales performance and sales funnel reporting from Enquiry/CRM systems, including focus on test drive activity and to communicate in a structured format on a weekly basis.
  • Sales Channel reporting accuracy to complete monthly exception reporting in conjunction with Sales Management team.
  • Conform to TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) on a daily basis.
  • Support, motivate, coach and train staff to create and maintain an effective sales team who are fully aware of all finance related products, including any special incentives on offer and Maxus campaigns.
  • Carry out sales executive monthly review’s and PDP’s accordingly.
  • Support the sales team in all aspects of the sales funnel process.
  • Monitor overage stock and maturing contracts.
  • Monitor service care penetration and uploading of signed contracts.
  • Ensure that the CRM system is operated and that all prospects and clients are contacted and followed up and that a regular cycle of contact is maintained, and that all relevant information is added to the company database.
  • Ensure that no business is agreed which involves any form of buyback commitment without prior approval and that all transactions are in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor the progress of all sold orders to ensure that deadlines are met in respect of vehicle acquisition and preparation.
  • Ensure that the sales site displays a professional image for visiting customers and prospects.
  • Responsible for potential issues of discipline within the Maxus van sales team in conjunction with Human Resources.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Maximising the profitability of the Van Sales Team to ensure volume targets are met.
  • Work with Van Sales Director to meet and exceed Company and manufacturer sales targets.
  • Achieve optimal utilization of the market, a high level of customer satisfaction and high yields for the department in accordance with the company objectives.
  • Monthly documented staff reviews and PDP’s.
